SSS July 12 Tool Time

Today's tool to use is ... Punches

Punches are an easy way to add a little extra to a page or they can be the main embellishment on your page.  There are tons of You tube videos showing how you can create art using punches.  Besides shape punches there are border punches, corner punches, even layered punches that add embossing to your punched items.

My sample today is showing a use for the Martha Stewart PATP (punch around the page) punches.

This is actually the class sample I made for when I teach this class.

The set of corner and border punches were used for the mats on my photo and journaling. the corner was used on the top of the photo tag.  The border punch was used on three strips of paper to make a ruffle along the left side of the layout.

Here is a close up of the ruffle border and the journaling mat.

Time to get creative with your punches. A card, a layout or a 3D project.  Work with what you have.

Happy scrapping.
