We have the idea of using the binder inserts from folders and screwing them to the board. I know I won't be able to take them off but we thought I could take the pages out and put them into spare binders for going somewhere with my crafting stuff. I am so glad I found this. Thank you for posting.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01690470923904920077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985164959399870081.post-10692514085855246012017-06-02T18:57:55.657-04:002017-06-02T18:57:55.657-04:00Sharon,

The 45 degree angle on mine seems a little steep. I only bought the expansion base as it was so cheap during their July 4 sale. Some day maybe I can invest in the original base and just use the real thing. I think the base and expansion would do it for me. With 2 kids in high school I had plenty of old binders. I cut the front and back off. Rapped tape around the strip that was left along with the metal binder part to make it a little stronger, then added a strip of industrial strength Velcro to it. The edges of my scraprack have recycled binders but I left one side attached to either end to help support the pages. I have a wedge under the edges to hold up the binder. Nothing fancy. One side has a small stuffed animal tucked under it, the other a small box. It works.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16233609901813437208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985164959399870081.post-46934668819859767692014-08-15T07:54:10.862-04:002014-08-15T07:54:10.862-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16233609901813437208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985164959399870081.post-61516178651076543182014-06-30T19:58:03.345-04:002014-06-30T19:58:03.345-04:00Did you use regular binders for your scraprack? That way it is easy to carry to crops. The top layer I put in the cartridges and the bottom layer holds the books. I had to use the 10 square as that is the only plastic canvas I had ...

I made little cards in front with labels with a label maker to say which cartride and made little dividers for the books.
